SNL Financial, the premier sector-focused information and research firm in the financial information marketplace, selected the InfoExpress CyberGatekeeper network access control solution to protect its network from computers outside its facilities that may be infected, misconfigured, or lacking the most up-to-date security patches. In this dynamic world of information gathering and research, SNL aimed to balance its workers need for easy access to the enterprise network from remote offices, customer sites, hotels, homes and other locations to do their jobs, with the company’s need to ensure these workstations would not pose any threat to its network.
