The Challenge:
Keeping Applications Current and Secure |
 |
Keeping antivirus and other software updated is essential for endpoint
security. Because a single endpoint can compromise the rest of the
network, all systems must be isolated from the network until they
are verified to be compliant with security policies.

The Dynamic
NAC for Windows software, CyberGatekeeper Server appliance, and CyberGatekeeper
Remote appliance ensure system compliance before granting access
to the network. Non-compliant systems are kept out regardless of
their configuration. Some of the benefits include:
- Up-to-date antivirus and software updates for all systems connected
to the network. Any system that is not up-to-date will be placed
into a quarantine area until remediation. Users cannot circumvent
the system by altering PC configuration or disabling applications.
- Remediation for non-compliant systems. Administrators can specify
what messages to display and how to remediate non-compliant systems.
- Verification of deployment. Software deployment can be easily
and accurately assessed through custom reports.
- Ongoing compliance. Systems are continuously checked to ensure
they remain compliant.
