The Challenge:
Securing Remote Systems |
 |
Remote users connect to the enterprise in many ways. A business
traveler may need to use a dialup connection. Off-site workers may
connect through an IPSec or SSL VPN. Corporate partners may connect
through leased lines. To maintain a secure environment, a comprehensive
policy must ensure all systems are compliant with policies.

The CyberGatekeeper family, consisting of CyberGatekeeper
Remote and CyberArmor, ensures that remote
endpoints are compliant before they have access to the network.
- CyberGatekeeper Remote
audits all systems and only grants access to those complying with
security policies. This ensures a secure network even when users
connect from home, on the road, in a cafe, or from another corporate
network.
- Employees can use the Desktop Agent to establish
an audit session with the CyberGatekeeper server. Systems without
a desktop agent, such as those owned by business partners and
consultants, can use the Web Agent to establish
an audit session.
- CyberArmor is an enterprise
personal firewall that installs on the user's PC. The centrally
managed solution protects against network attacks, keeping systems
safe on and off the corporate network. Its granular rules and
flexible policies can be customized to meet the specific needs
of the organization.
